The first additional office opens in Hamburg: closer to clients in the north.
First projects beyond Germany's borders and new industries alongside the core business: SAFETEE diversifies.
Major energy companies entrust SAFETEE with their construction sites. New offices open in Magdeburg, Mainz and Berlin, the headquarters moves to Bochum, Jan Peukmann takes over operations as COO, and projects lead to Scandinavia, the Netherlands and the British Isles.

New formats and tools strengthen communication within the team, across all offices.
The head office moves to Bochum, in the heart of the Ruhr region.
The fourth office opens in Mainz.
Projects in Norway and the Netherlands widen the radius in Europe.
With Berlin, SAFETEE is present at five locations in Germany.
Co-founder Boris Kowalewski retires and Marc Riegel becomes sole owner. A new chapter follows: a leadership team of CEO, COO and CSO, team leads for the HSE teams, a dedicated Safety Consulting division, a new brand identity, clients from critical infrastructure and our own digital tools.

Marc Riegel leads SAFETEE as CEO and sole owner, together with Jan Peukmann as COO (since 2020) and Björn Andresen as Chief Strategy Officer (since 2024).
